Ms. Rishni Withanage
Ms. Rishni Withanage is a distinguished legal professional and academic, holding a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, and a Master of Laws in International Business Law, with a specialization in Finance, fromCardiff Metropolitan University, UK. After excelling in the highly competitive final examinations of Sri Lanka Law College, she was admitted as an Attorney- at-Law to the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Further enriching her legal expertise, she earned a post-attorney diploma in Conveyancing and Real Property from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Sri Lanka. Demonstrating a keen interest in both law and management, she also holds the prestigious Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management (PQHRM) from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Sri Lanka. Ms. Withanage's versatile career spans both the corporate and academic landscapes. She has worked as a Corporate Attorney, offering strategic legal counsel on Labour Law, Company Law, and Commercial Law to some of the most respected companies in Sri Lanka. Her expertise also covers notarial and company secretarial matters, making her a well-rounded and highly sought- after legal advisor. Alongside her legal practice, Ms. Withanage has made a significant impact as an academic, serving as a visiting lecturer at renowned institutions including CIPM, NIBM, and LPEC. Her captivating teaching style, coupled with her profound knowledge of Human Resources, Business Law, and Labour Law, has established her as an inspiring educator.
